School Partnerships!
At Atlas Theatre Company CIC we don't just offer an after school club we offer a partnership! Our aim is to engage as many children as possible in creative arts and we work hard to offer our schools a unique relationship that supports all children and benefits the school!

What does our School Partnership look like?
After School Club
We run once a week, for an hour a week, during term time. With a capacity of up to 20 children from years 2-6.
Winter Term
From September to December, we focus on collaboration and the importance of working together as a theatre company. This term has a focus on games and activities that support collaborative working as well as embedding practical skills such as voice projection, clarity and diction. This term we stive to build confidence in the learners to use their voice and speak in front of others. For those who already confident in this area we work to further develop those skills looking into stage presence.
In the winter term the children work towards small theatre pieces where we offer the opportunity for their grownups to come to an open session and see what the children have been working on.
January Onwards! from January we start to work towards a performance for the summer this is normally a 40min performance where children have roles to play. The Summer performance is a ticketed event with the prices determined by the school with all proceeds going to the school as part of Atlas Theatre Company's way of giving back and supporting education. (PTA would also be welcome to use the events to sell any refreshments)
Contact us at hello@atlastheatrecompany.com for more information regarding pricing.
The benefits of Partnership!
Money Back!
As part of our After School Club the children work towards and end of year show. Our partner school set ticket prices for the performance keeping the money raised in ticket sales to use to supporting other enrichment activates for all children|! It is also an opportunity for the PTA to sell refreshments and merchandise if they feel creative!
Free Sessions
As part of our afterschool package we offer a 1 hour free workshop that can be used at any point during the academic year (subject to availability) for any cohort of your choice from EYFS up.
We run a Pay it forward scheme where other businesses we work with get the opportunity to contribute to free drama in school.
Industry Professionals
We also utilise our connections to support our after-school programme. This year we have had members of our community theatre company visit one of our afterschool clubs, we had Clive Kneller an actor from the WICKED MOVIE (2024) paying a visit and the children have received a personalised video from Lydia Gerrard (Standby Glinda in the Wicked’s West End production)
Other benefits!
Previously we have been able to gift our partner schools with tickets to our other events. We have organised personalized messages such as Santa Videos for the school. We also aim to included other area's of the school within our work! This year we have children from the choir performing in our of our shows, we are providing EYFS with materials to support the children in creating some of the set and we have an full school competition to create our treasure map (For Treasure Island) with the winners map being used in the show!
Theatre is a collaborative art and we love to involve the rest of the school as frequently as possible.
